Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American artist, writer and actress, best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s the television show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she launched her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Later, she appeared in number of Broadway shows before becoming one of the biggest stars on the national stage along with Li'l abner in 1957. The same year, She released Her first album of songs, called It's the time for Tina. Louise embarked on a journey to Hollywood playing Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre, a drama movie released in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise got her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She attended Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. The next role she starred in was from 1964, after she joined CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the last couple of years she's also earned a name for herself as an accomplished director on several well-known television series including Supernatural in addition to The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto, where she spent the majority of her childhood and teens. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and was there ever from then on.
